About Me!

An avid family history enthusiast since I was age 10! In my early thirties, I began to take genealogy more seriously, and I set out on a quest to apply standard genealogical research procedures to my family lines. There's been no looking back!

After spending the past 10 years policing my lineages already posted at family history websites and spending most of my time cleaning up errors and mistakes or requesting sources (which never got a response), I decided to stop wasting my time. So, I have created this site to serve as a depository for lineages that are sourced (or if unsourced, I'll tell you!) and for holding research notes found in hundreds of papers my mother, Kay Rockett, collected during the 1990s.

I also blog about parallels in my life's experiences with those I imagine my ancestors had in their lives. My blog also contains factual, historical posts about the people in the lineages at this website as well as general information and observations about genealogy.
